Farsi Flows, 2022-25
The Farsi Flows offers a framework for a new alphabet—one that gently bridges history, heritage, and the endless possibilities of the future in a clear, approachable form. It's shared as a grid of thirty-two frames, each one echoing the thirty-two letters of Farsi, the language at the heart of the artist's cultural roots. These frames bring together images of ancient geoglyphs from different cultures with futuristic symbols of interstellar communication, weaving together visual languages, codes, numbers, and signs to move beyond the boundaries of traditional language.
At its core, The Farsi Flows sees the Farsi language as a spark—a starting point for deeper explorations of language, connection, and meaning. It welcomes others to look, to imagine, to take part, and to open a conversation about the possibility of shared understanding.

Audio Narration
In this recording, I share a memory of walking through public spaces with a sheet of Farsi letters and a box of colored markers, inviting strangers to choose a letter, a color, and a feeling. What follows is a reflection on language, connection, and the quiet ways we try to understand one another—sometimes with no words at all.
